Gary McAllister, Jason McAteer and Craig Johnston visited the CanTeen cancer charity in Sydney on Monday.

The trio of Liverpool legends met with young cancer patients, took part in a Q&A and signing session and joined in with football activities including SnookFootball and Football Target.

LFC also handed over free match tickets to the 70 children present at CanTeen - Australia's biggest cancer charity for young people (12-25 years) - for Wednesday's game against Sydney FC at the ANZ Stadium.

The club are in Sydney to host various activities ahead of their post-season friendly on May 24.

McAllister said: “CanTeen is a charity across Australia that really makes a difference to young people's lives. We've been supporting them since we first came to Australia and we thank them for inviting us here today.”
