The critically-acclaimed YNWA stage show is set to return to Liverpool later this year – and fans are being given the chance to vote for a new scene to be added to the production.

Back by popular demand for the club’s 125th anniversary, it’s the show that brings the history of the club to life using the songs from the terraces, taking you on a journey through footballing history.

YNWA will be staged at Liverpool’s Royal Court from Thursday September 28 until Saturday October 28, with Mark Moraghan, Jake Abraham, Lindzi Germain, Lenny Wood, Jamie Clarke and Daniel Ross the confirmed cast members.

From the founding fathers then two world wars, through to the dark days of the Second Division and the glory round the fields of Anfield Road, witness the triumphs, the tragedies, the heroes and legends.

From John Houlding to Jürgen Klopp, Rome to Istanbul, this show will tell you an unrivalled footballing story. It is the official history of Liverpool Football Club.

To mark its return, fans can vote from a shortlist below on a new scene to be added to the show. Simply read the potential ideas and then cast your vote underneath.

1. A scene on a player who carried Liverpool through the 40s and 50s - Billy Liddell.

We'll relive some of his greatest moments and pick out a few of his 258 goals. We examine what he meant to the club and why it was referred to as "Liddellpool".

2. A salute to Ronnie Moran and the famous Boot Room.

In the year of his sad passing, the show will remember this truly great man. We will recreate the legendary scene where the club's most influential characters all huddled in the most famous room in UK football, the Boot Room.

3. A scene about Ian Callaghan, our greatest ever servant.

A true legend of our club, we will look back on the highlights of the player with a record for most games played that will never be beaten. We make the contrast with today's world and remember how this true gentleman and Toxteth-born boy was ever-present through the whole journey from mediocre Second Division outfit to the lofty summit of European football.

4. Kevin Keegan as a Liverpool idol of the 70s and player.

We remember the Shankly signing of this young lad from Scunthorpe and pick out the key moments as one half of the clinical double act between him and Tosh and then the events in 1977 which saw Keegan depart and Kenny Dalglish arrive.

5. Gone but never forgotten, a scene on Luis Suarez.

We relive the impact he had and the season which almost took us back to the top, where we belong. To a backdrop of the fans' favourite Luis song, we will show a montage of his goals, his passion on the pitch and his love for this club.
