Liverpool U14s made a special visit to the club's London offices last week to gain a greater understanding of the business aspects of the club.

The Reds youngsters were given a tour of the office as well as taking a look in its Anfield experience room.

Managing director and COO Billy Hogan also gave a presentation to the team on the business of LFC and the jobs associated with working for the club.

On the visit to the capital, Academy director Alex Inglethorpe said: “It was fantastic for the lads to have been given a better insight into what is involved away from the pitch with Liverpool Football Club.

“Some of the younger boys may think that the club plays football and nothing else so this gave them a much better understanding of the day-to-day running of the football club.

“It was also brilliant for the lads to have listened to Billy on the importance of the business of football at Liverpool FC.”
