Liverpool FC's Red Neighbours team visited a local school on Thursday to join in with their World Book Day activities.

The team popped in to New Park Primary School for the afternoon and joined 360 pupils from Reception and Years 1, 2 and 3 to read a selection of books and see the children’s fantastic literary-inspired costumes.

They also led a mini-assembly for Years 5 and 6 as part of the school’s Career and Aspirations week, answering questions on their journey from school to employment at LFC and highlighting the importance of education and ongoing learning.
