A minute's silence was observed in memory of Ronnie Moran by Liverpool's squad in Tenerife.

The legendary figure – who served the club as a player, captain, coach, caretaker manager and many more backroom roles during his 49 years with the Reds – passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday morning.

Before training began, Jürgen Klopp assembled his staff and players to inform them of Moran’s passing and the significance of the man known as ‘Mr Liverpool’ to the club and particularly the supporters at home.

They then observed a minute’s silence and reflection, which can be watched below.
