Nathaniel Phillips is an experienced centre-half who emerged from the club's Academy to become part of Jürgen Klopp's senior Liverpool FC squad.
Hailed as a 'monster' in the air by his manager, the defender made 20 appearances during the 2020-21 campaign to help the Reds secure a third-placed Premier League finish and Champions League qualification.
Phillips previously came through the youth ranks at Bolton Wanderers before turning down a scholarship in the USA to pursue his dreams at the peak of the professional game, and he arrived at the Academy in 2016 following a successful trial.
